It has come to give your baby their first bath. You may have given some thought as to how you were going to bath the baby before they were born. Some parents choose a towel and lay it in the kitchen sink and place the baby in a sitting position and they bathe the baby that way. Others have chosen to get one of those big sponge baby baths. These are great, they are non slip and they can go in the bathtub. You and your partner can work together to give baby their bath. One person can hold the baby while the other soaps and rinses.

They do make a great bath product for infants. It is a mesh cloth slope with metal rods so it looks almost like a slide. The baby sits on the incline and you can comfortable give the baby a bath. If you are giving your baby a bath alone and you feel nervous, don’t be here is something you can do to make it a little less nerve wracking.

Pre soap your wash cloth and keep the clean rinsing water on hand. Keep your baby’s towel on your shoulder for easy access. Make sure the soap you are using is very mild, keep the wash cloth filled with soap so you don’t have to re soap. You can bathe the baby with the wash cloth and hold baby in another hand.
